SIGMUND FREUD CHRONOLOGY

	Thomas Mann gives a celebratory address in the Concert Hall on "Freud and the Future".
	In Marienbad the 14th International Psychoanalytical Congress is held, at which Jacques Lacan presents a paper on the mirror stage.
	On his 80th birthday congratulations arrive from a multitude of international scientists, writers and artists. The well-wishers include James Joyce, Pablo Picasso, Leonard and Virginia Woolf, H.G. Wells, Albert Schweitzer, Albert Einstein and many others.
