SIGMUND FREUD CHRONOLOGY

	Georg Groddeck joins the psychoanalytical movement.
	Groddeck who is a doctor and director of a sanatorium in Baden- Baden was initially critical of psychoanalysis but now he begins a correspondence with Freud in the course of which he offers him a new model of the psyche. Under his influence Freud is later to draft a new tripartite model of the id, the ego and the super-ego in The Ego and the Id.

	With his wife and daughter Anna, Freud spends the summer in Csorbato in the High Tatras. There he begins drafting A Childhood Memory from 'Dichtung und Warheit'. Freud also publishes the second part of Introductory Lectures on Psychoanalysis, A Difficulty in the Path of Psychoanalysis and Mourning and Melancholia. His first Introductory Lectures to Psychoanalysis are published.
