Lecture „Beating Phantasies and Daydreams" at Vienna Psychoanalytical Society. Membership of the society

Anna begins her own psychoanalytical practise with children at Berggasse 19

Sigmund Freud begins suffering from cancer. Anna becomes his closest confidant

Her first book Einführung in die Technik der Kinderanalyse is published

Anna Freud becomes General Secretary of the International Psychoanalytical Association (until 1934)

Director of the Vienna Psychoanalytical Training Institute

The Ego and the Mechanisms of Defence is published

Formation of the „Jackson Nursery“

Jackson Nursery is closed, the Freud family escapes to England

Formation of the Hampstead War Nursery

Formation of the Hampstead Child Therapy Courses together with Kate Friedländer
