In this former kitchen area where, notably, the terrazzo floor, typical of the way middle-class kitchens were fitted out, has survived intact, seating was installed during the course of the decoration of this room in 1993. Here archive video and audio tapes of Sigmund Freud, his colleagues and his family are shown. The archive film "Freud 1930-1939 with a Commentary by Anna Freud" was put together by Anna Freud in the last year of her life. It shows Sigmund Freud in Vienna, Paris and London between 1930 and 1939 surrounded by his family and closest friends and colleagues. The original film is held in the Anna Freud Centre in London and on the Continent is exclusively shown in the Vienna Sigmund Freud Museum.
